I found myself wanting to snack a lot today. And not because I was hungry, but bored. It seems like when I'm highly emotional or bored is when I want to binge on food. Sweet or not. I just want to eat. I'm trying to redirect that energy. I am finding it difficult with two little kids when the weather is cold and we can't go outside for walks easily. I can't wait for winter to be over. My mantra for now:
I sat on the couch and watched them shovel it into their mouths and just kind of lived through them for a moment. Slow down! Savor it! Popcorn.....popcorn.
The next week should be good. Doug and I have a lot of yummy meals planned. Let's see what happens!
